inTouch R&B Bilge Minder is an all in one solution to detect any standing / running water that can cause harm or damage to your Property. As an example: On a HVAC system that is located in your condo, home cabin, boat and the Drip pan drain is plugged then our HVAC detector senses water in the drip pan after (1) minute of water across the HVAC water sensor then inTouch R&B will send out an immediate email / text message to you the owner and also a 2nd contact that you define will also get the message to indicate service is required immediately.
We offer (2) types of Bilge Minder Monitor:
1). Voltage sensing (the Bilge pump conductors are wired in parallel with the bilge pump)
2). Current sensor (The bilge pump power wires are running through a current sensor, which looks for a current load across the bilge pump) This is a non-intrusive solution which does not effect the current wiring to the bilge pump. Therefore if the Bilge Pump Controller fails it will not effect the factory wiring of the bilge pump.
Bilge Minder “How to Maximize the Efficiency of Bilge Minder
An inTouch R&B Bilge Minder sends you hourly or daily updates on the frequency of how many times your Bilge pump has cycled and how many minutes it was running. If you feel your Bilge pump is running too often there could be an issue. Common issues are, too much water is flowing into the Bilge area or your pump is not working efficiently due to a clogged pump or a bad bilge pump impeller.
